First Look at the New Cast for the Han Solo Movie
Yesterday on StarWars.com the gang at LucasFilm gave us our first look at the ensemble cast for the upcoming “Young Han Solo” movie.
We here at Gentle Giant ltd are excited to see this project come together! It’s a great cast, with great writers and amazing directors!
The Han Solo movie will star: Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Emilia Clarke, Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca, and Donald Glover. It will be directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller and it will be released in 2018.

Sculpted by Gentle Giant’s master artisans, this Darth Vader statue recreates the scene from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back of Lord Vader bowing in devotion to his master, Emperor Palpatine. Each limited edition, hand-painted piece is cast in high quality polyresin with crisp details. This statue also comes individually numbered with a matching certificate of authenticity and is limited to only 1300 pieces. Thank You For Voting in the 2016 Poppies Awards!
Over the past 2 weeks Michael Crawford aka Captain Toy has been announcing the winners of his 2016 Poppies Awards. The awards are broken down into three divisions: MWC’s Picks, the People’s Picks and the Judge’s Picks (the judges are made up of 150 toy industry and toy press people).
In the category of “Best Bust 2016” Gentle Giant LTD. took home the Bronze Award for Michael’s Picks for our 2016 SDCC exclusive McQuarrie Chewbacca Bust.
For both the People’s Picks and the Judges Picks in the “Best Bust 2016” category Gentle Giant LTD. won the Silver Award for the Star Wars Boba Fett Classic Bust!
A BIG thank you to everyone who voted for us and congratulations to all the other winners!

Justice League Dark Best Buy Exclusive Constantine PVC Figure
Oftentimes we here at Gentle Giant are contacted by other companies to make products for them. This was the case when we were approached by Warner Brothers Home Entertainment to help them create an exclusive PVC pack-in premium figure for the Best Buy version of their Justice League Dark animated Blu-Ray release. The 4″ figure we helped create is the crabbiest mage in the DCU – John Constantine.
We were thrilled to be able to use our digital talents on this project and bring the DCU animated Constantine to life.

Happy Birthday Warwick Davis!
Today is the birthday of actor who has spanned the generations of Star Wars sagas, Mr. Warwick Davis.
Warwick has not only appeared in 4 Star Wars films, but also the Harry Potter franchise.
